8 Dumbbell Exercises for a Stronger Upper Body

 

Looking to tone and strengthen that upper body but not sure what to do!? Don’t worry! I got your back (literally) with one of my favorite upper body workouts to target arms, chest, back, and core.

I love this workout because not only does it target a variety of muscles, but it also requires just one piece of equipment! Plus it’s quick- when done circuit style, you can finish up this routine in 10-15 minutes.

 

Upper Body Dumbell Workout

  1. Choose a dumbbell weight that’s right for you. This may take some trial and error. You should be able to get through your sets with proper form, but it should be difficult to finish off the last few reps. (Keep in mind, you may want a few different sets of dumbbells for if you are stronger in some exercises than in others).
  2. Complete 10-12 reps of each exercise.
  3. Repeat entire circuit 3-4 times, rest between rounds if needed.
