What a great third week of the challenge! It seems that everyone is settling into the routine this third week- more of you have a feel, and are branching out on your own! It’s awesome to watch your creativity and confidence grow through the bolder workouts that are being posted.

We had 82 of the participants completed the challenge this past week! Incredible work to all of you who did complete the challenge! If you were one of the 82, congratulations on reaching those weekly goals! Now it’s time to finish off Week #4. If you didn’t complete Week #3, no problem, you still have a fresh chance to complete the challenge this week!

Weekly Prize Winner - Week #2

Congratulations to Cindy Ward (@cindyward) for completing the third week of the APU Summertime Challenge and for being drawn from all those that completed the challenge to win this week's Frisella’s Roastery gift basket!

As you can see, Cindy has not yet picked up her prize....so, the first one to come catch the Pokemon around the Frisella's Roastery gift basket get to take it home!!! Just kidding, it's all yours Cindy. I bet we got a few of you Pokemon Goer's excited though.

A Week in Review

It has been so fun to see all of the interaction that is going on- whether it be through workouts together, or through comments on the app. We hope you are as excited as we are about the encouraging community that is starting to form. What a great week to watch motivation grow, and support build! Here are just a few of the highlights from Week #3!

It was great to see @noriconner and @vfrench get inventive with their workout tools this week! Nori made use of some furniture sliders, while Veronica put her brick wall to use for some step ups! Excellent creativity ladies!

@naomispinella, @jhughes, @christine, and @rfrancis displayed some breathtaking views from their workouts this past week, reminding us of all of all of the beauty and adventure we are blessed to have right outside our doors, in this summer weather!

The Skate Dance Party @kwiedefeld posted with her family made us want to dance! Who doesn’t like sliding in socks, and Justin Timberlake?

We always appreciate a good workout selfie! Thanks to @pomonafarmer, and @dougfields among so many others who proudly embellished their workouts with a happy face!

 

Last but not least, the Pokemon Go! featured workouts by @nateingalls, @christianbrazo, and @rmaljian were awesome! Whatever it takes to get you out the door!

Incredible week everyone! I can’t wait to see what can be accomplished in Week #4 ,as we get stronger and healthier. We are almost halfway done with the challenge, so let’s get moving! Let me leave you with this PK Fitness tip.

PK Tip:

If you don’t have a profile picture, it isn’t too late to add one. This is a great way to add a face to a name for your fellow APU colleagues, and it’s also a great way to spice up your account. To add a profile picture go to the ‘Me’ tab of your PK Fitness account. Click on ‘edit profile’ in the top right hand corner, and click on the ‘Profile Picture’ section of this page. Select a photo, and Voila!

You can also change your display name in the same place! While you can pick any display name that you prefer, its best to simply use your first and last name if you want people to easily find you on the app. If you don't, you can keep your incognito name...all your choice!
